In this episode I discuss micro habits and how they can change your life. About micro habits the first thing you can do is make your bed every day it's a small task but you can say did you accomplish that much at the end of a long day meditate for two minutes find the time to do so is key especially if you live with someone else so I suggest doing it early in the morning before everyone wakes up or before your alarm goes off And take the two minutes then increase that until you get to 10. delay your reactions I know I've been slowly training myself to do this try not to react off emotion and learning the power of the pause is very powerful and it was hard for me at first because sometimes situations are triggering why say something that you might regret? spend a day away from social media I would like to try this myself I'm usually either promote my show get topic ideas or get news but I think I can pull off a day. we can all use that break. prepare for your day the night before I've always done this either by writing down what I Gotta do for the next day or even something as simple as getting my clothes out the night before. That leaves a lot of time in the morning. write a short journal entry I used to do this I was big on doing that in high school and a little bit in college but then I stopped at all these notebooks of journal entries and Imagine doing it for months and years it just kind of clutter piles up so I don't know I don't know about that one night you just do like an electronic journal and put it in your computer or your iPad . drink two glasses of water when you awaken. It helps with dehydration that's interesting because I did hear about drinking water as soon as you get up but didn't know about two glasses of water. I did hear about eight a day. I don't know about that. strengthening your core there are a lot of exercises you can do to keep your body agile like a plank exercise and you don't have to go to the gym to do it. say yes it takes you out of your comfort Zone and gives you room for growth. this may be a tough one for me since I'm trying to sav no more.
